Research Interests: Mongolian and Oirat written monuments and their language, cataloguing (collecting, description, research, translation and publishing), paleography, archaeography, textual studies of sources written in Tibetan, Mongolian and Oirat, history of Mongolian peoples’ Buddhism, history of medieval Mongolian literature, Tibetan literature, Mongolian and Tibetan folklore, issues of translating Buddhist sources, methods of teaching Mongolian, training lexicography.
